RFID wireless sensors and Internet of things
RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) is used to detect presence and location of objects while wireless sensors are used to sense and monitor the environment. They have wide use in military, environmental monitoring and forecasting, healthcare, intelligent home, and precision agriculture. The Internet of Things refers to uniquely identifiable objects and their virtual representations in an Internet-like structure. RFID is often seen as a prerequisite for the Internet of Things.
